Korean Exclusive version of the SEGA game consoles perfect catalog.
Sega’s early game consoles refer to the company’s first home video game systems, spanning from the SG-1000 to the Game Gear. At the time, Sega had consistently focused on producing arcade games for business use, but starting with the SG-1000, it went on to operate in the industry as a home console manufacturer for an impressive 18 years. In Korea, Samsung Electronics released these systems domestically beginning in April 1989 under the name “Samsung GamBoy,” leaving strong nostalgic memories for those who spent their youth in that era.
The Sega Early Consoles & GamBoy Perfect Catalog contains a wide range of hardware and peripherals, as well as software releases by year, along with interesting episodes about the development background of the time. In the latter part of the book, the software introduced is organized in Korean alphabetical order together with the original titles, making it easy to look up information. In addition, translator Jo Gi-hyeon, chief editor of the monthly magazine GAMER’Z, obtained the original author’s permission to include original pages created specifically for the Korean edition.
